The college’s Whānau (Māori word for family) system offers students a unique sense of belonging. We have six Whānau, each with their own building which operate like schools within the college. This provides students with all the benefits of a small school while still having the opportunities that large schools can provide.

My first impression of BDSC was the welcome given by the whole BDSC staff. The International Department take care of us during and beyond school hours. They are people who I can have faith in while dealing with any troubles, while living away from my family and friends.
