Every day since I came to New Zealand has been a new experience to me. It’s my first time to experience being far from my home country, my family and my friends. But, after a few weeks studying and living in New Zealand I’ve got another place to call home, have a second family and am making lots of Kiwi friends. My anxiety from the first few days being here, began to disappear from the caring and whole-hearted helping from my homestay family and my new friends at Tauranga Boys’ College. The difference in the amount of work and subjects made me surprised at first but it isn’t a concern to me anymore. Lots of new subjects such as digital technology and new sports have satisfied my ambitions to discover different things. The teachers and friends are always willing to help every time I have problems with my studies. I’m glad I have been able to go live in this beautiful country and this wonderful school.
