WELLINGTON GIRLS COLLEGE
Wellington Girls' College is a girls only, Decile 10, government school in the heart of New Zealand's capital city, Wellington. Established in 1883, it has a tradition of academic excellence with pass rates at all levels of NCEA and University Entrance of 90% and above. Our school’s excellence in sports, music groups and pastoral care benefit our 65 international students who live with experienced homestay families.

Our 2021 Vietnamese graduates won scholarships of $20,000 to study Psychology and German and Health Sciences at Otago University and to study Food Technology at Massey University, Auckland.
Our 2019 graduate Anh Nguyen is now employed in the prestigious KPMG intern programme in Wellington

I feel that I am so lucky to have come to this country and to have studied at this amazing school. I got accepted to the PhD program in Science at Australian National University – one of the most prestigious science degrees in Australia together with a scholarship. This is based totally on my results in New Zealand.
